Welcome, I’m Sarah
I’m the founder of Clarywest –
A life & business coaching company that helps leaders of small businesses overcome overwhelm so they can achieve their biggest dreams.
Life’s twists and turns brought me to this point of having the privilege of being able to help inspiring people like you.

My martyr years…
I used to consistently work anywhere from 50-100 hours a week and I wore that “commitment” like a badge of honor. I felt a sense of pride when I stayed at the office until 1am – I thought, “I am the MOST dedicated”. When anyone asked how I was doing, my mantra was always, “good, good, just so busy!”
In my mind, my worth was my level of productivity and my busyness made me valuable and important. I thought the only way to get ahead was to put all my energy into my career. I suffered. My relationships suffered. And I drove my health into the ground. My base level of stress was phenomenally high, but I didn’t believe there was any other way if I wanted to be successful.
The search for the best tools available…
So, in typical Sarah-fashion, I turned to research. What started as a quest for productivity hacks and team development tips, ultimately led me down a windy path of self-discovery.
I started with some of the best productivity gurus out there and learned everything I could get my hands on in order to engage my team, become a vision of efficiency, all while increasing revenue at the company I was leading. I spent two years in a leadership program called Business Accelerator and met many wonderful entrepreneurs and CEOs. We learned how to foster happier teams, how to delegate and prioritize, how to create rhythm in our companies, and how to scale.
I read all the books. I took all the assessments. And my company benefited massively. We grew. We grew and we grew. It was wild and exciting. I was an innovation-machine – constantly rolling out the next exciting tool that would make us the best in the industry, despite my weary, risk-adversed team.
Then, I was frequently irritated, always underslept, and my hair started falling out. I was overdrinking, overeating, and withdrawing from the people I loved. I was all ALL IN on this company that wasn’t even mine, until I completely and utterly burnt out.

And, finally, it came together…
I gave notice. I took time to heal. I felt guilty about taking taking time to heal. I floundered. I slept in. I chastized myself for sleeping in. I tried sobriety. I practiced extreme self-care. And then, a friend recommended a podcast called “Unf*ck Your Brain”.
I binge-listened to Kara Lowenthiel while taking my dog to the dog park, driving my car, grocery shopping, you name it. Coaching landed in my lap.
I had always associated the term “Life Coach” with aimless people who couldn’t “make it in the real world”, but then learning how to change my thoughts started changing my life.
Without hesitation, I signed up for The Life Coach School to get certified as a coach. I figured, maybe this would help me better run the next company… and then something miraculous happened.
I didn’t feel the need to binge eat or drink. I didn’t feel as tempted by the couch and my TV. I got over my ex of twenty years off and on in EIGHT minutes. I started taking agency over myself and my choices. I stopped wallowing in indecision.
I felt like a brand new person with a brand new brain. I knew that helping others feel better was my future. Today, I wear my committment to abundance as my badge of honor.
And this is where YOU come in…
I have been where you are – I see you. I understand you. I have created and compiled the best productivity hacks to help shave time off your schedule. And, most importantly, I have the thought-work tools to give you the energy to get going.
And that’s the power of coaching.
“The moment you have an instinct to act on a goal you must 5-4-3-2-1 and physically move or your brain will stop you.”
